Our Champion Westie Bloodlines

Breeding With Purpose, Guided by Lineage

At Wild Wild Westies, we don’t just breed dogs—we preserve a legacy. Every puppy we raise is the result of years of intentional pairing, careful genetic screening, and a deep respect for the West Highland White Terrier breed standard. Our commitment to excellence begins at the source: the bloodlines behind every litter.

Why Bloodlines Matter

When choosing a puppy, lineage isn’t just a matter of pedigree—it's a matter of health, temperament, and predictability. Strong bloodlines lead to dogs that are not only beautiful, but balanced, well-tempered, and less prone to genetic issues.

We focus on three key areas when building our breeding program:

  • Health History: Avoiding inherited conditions and ensuring long-term wellness
  • Temperament: Selecting sires and dams with calm, affectionate, and confident personalities
  • Conformation: Maintaining AKC breed standards for structure, coat, and proportion

Our goal is not mass production—it’s producing dogs who thrive physically and emotionally for life.

AKC-Registered Excellence

All of our Westies are AKC registered, and many of our dogs come from champion bloodlines. This ensures your puppy's heritage is traceable, accountable, and rooted in quality.

We proudly breed only West Highland White Terriers and have done so exclusively since 2006. By dedicating ourselves to one breed, we’ve been able to develop a refined and consistent genetic foundation—resulting in puppies that reflect the very best of the breed.

“When you meet one of our puppies, you’ll see it immediately—alert eyes, strong stance, friendly spirit, and that classic Westie confidence.”

Our Dams & Sires

Every breeding pair is selected based on health, structure, and disposition. We never breed simply for color or size. Instead, we ask:

  • Is this dog healthy and strong?
  • Does this dog have a balanced, loving temperament?
  • Does this dog embody the AKC Westie standard?

Ethical Breeding is the Foundation

We believe responsible breeding is more than titles and trophies—it’s about making better dogs. Every dog in our program lives on-site, not in kennels or cages. They run, play, rest, and interact with our family and the natural environment daily.

We only breed a limited number of litters per year, ensuring our moms have plenty of rest between litters and that we can devote full attention to each puppy.

Puppies from our bloodlines are ideal for:

  • Families with children
  • Active singles or seniors
  • First-time pet owners
  • Therapy or emotional support dog training

Early Temperament Observation

Because of our years of experience with Westie behavior, we begin evaluating temperament as early as 4 weeks old. Each puppy is observed during play, feeding, and interaction to match their energy level and personality with the right home.

This ensures that your new companion isn’t just beautiful—but the right fit for your lifestyle.
